William Henry Asti, AIA
Mr. Asti is an Economist and an Architect who has been in business since 1981. His practice includes Architecture and Planning; including Community Planning, Strategic Planning, and Futures Planning. His practice also includes Development Consulting as well as conducting Economic Analysis on projects.
Mr. Asti's domestic clientele and consulting have included private prison companies, the largest hospital corporation in America, private gaming concerns, real estate developers, universities, state government, school districts, private and public corporations, construction companies, and individuals from twelve states and the District of Columbia. His international assignments have included a Dutch conglomerate, a French bank, a French constructor, and individuals from the former West German government. He has also consulted with developers on projects in Korea, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Poland.
Mr. Asti has been involved in the development of numerous community development initiatives since 1977; to include the creation of the first private foundation in the United States dedicated to the issue of educating individuals and communities about the development of post industrial communities of the future. From that first step, in 1980 Mr. Asti designed the first in history “Third Wave City of the Future." This accomplishment was recognized by the White House in 1982.
